About the Founders
Moe Fassed
Founder & General Manager
Moe Fassed founded Al Sanad Electromechanical Services to bring structure, accountability, and genuine customer care to property maintenance in the UAE. With nearly two decades of leadership experience across the UAE and Europe, including West and Central Europe, and the Nordic and Baltic region, Moe held senior transformation roles at Emirates Transport and DANX Carousel Group. During his tenure at Emirates Transport, the organisation’s annual turnover grew from AED 1.7 billion to AED 3.1 billion, a period in which he also led multiple new product and service launches as part of the company’s business expansion. At DANX Carousel Group, he led the technology and transformation agenda that helped position the business for its next private-equity investment cycle (2027–2032). At Al Sanad, he leads overarching management, strategy, finance, and other administrative and Human Resources functions, working closely with the technical team to ensure every service reflects the same principle the company was built on: property owners shouldn’t have to choose between quality and care. Romi Malkawi
Co-Founder & Technical Director
Romi Malkawi brings 18+ years of large-scale maintenance and engineering leadership to Al Sanad, built inside Emirates Transport, one of the UAE’s largest government fleet and technical services organisations. There, he led strategy and operations for a 35,000-unit fleet with an AED 500 million annual maintenance budget, and earlier built an entirely new electromechanical modification and maintenance operation from the ground up, delivering an AED 120 million, three-year project portfolio. He also led corporate Quality Management, implementing Integrated Management Systems across ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001. A certified Lead Auditor across all four standards, a PMI-certified Project Manager, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Romi holds a UAE Golden Visa and is based in Dubai. At Al Sanad, he owns technical delivery and quality, making preventive, professionally managed maintenance the standard for residential communities across the UAE.
